In the last years Sirtec has greatly committed itself to research and development.
Starting from mixtures used in Sirma (company now out of the market but undisputed leader of this field in the past), Sirtec introduced new raw materials that substantially improved the inner properties of the product.
Thanks to the possibility of setting different and customized firing cycles with peaks of elevated temperature (new generation kiln) to the new requests of the product, the selection of Sirtec rollers gained more benefits placing itself at the highest levels of quality in the market.
This research activity completes and refines itself with tests on the actual performance of the roller carried out in a laboratory roller kiln module in our plant.

Sirtec ensures a very high level of quality of its products since it imposed itself an extremely rigid and rigorous quality control of the entire production cycle.

 
HOW TO USE REFRACTORY ROLLERS

In order to obtain the best results during use, it is essential to adopt some simple rules:

• Material must be stocked in closed and dry places;

• Before use rollers must be dried up (it is enough to put them on the kiln vault for 24 hours);

• Roller must always be turning also during insertion and extraction;

• The roller, just removed from the kiln, must be kept far from cold surfaces to avoid thermal shock (that is, any contact between the roller and cold surfaces must be avoided).


Thanks to this activity, the basic products were confirmed and improved and new qualities were formulated in order to expand the production range to cover the specific market even in the most technical sectors.
